Color placement is everything in this quilt pattern. "Sing the Blues" fabrics from Exclusively Quilters, give it that special glow. The center is made entirely of 4" squares and half-square triangles. Terry used Thangles triangle papers to make the sewing quick and accurate.
The directions in the package are terrific...no wasted fabric and no wasted time squaring up! If you use a different technique to create your half-square triangles, be sure to cut your pieces according to your chosen method. The pattern includes a 1/4" seam allowance practice and tips for working with cornerstone borders for a perfect fit. With patience and attention to detail, most strong beginners will enjoy this quilt pattern.
