Bermuda Bag

The Bermuda Bag pattern by Pink Sand Beach Designs is a practical shoulder bag with a secure zippered top and lots of pockets.  Finished size is 10" W x 9" H x 4" D with a 27 1/2" long shoulder strap and can be made any length you wish.

Materials Needed:

• STRIP FABRICS ON THE OUTSIDE: 7 strips - 2 1/2" x 44" (use 7 different fabrics)
• 1/2 yd Fabric 2 for bag bottom, pockets and strap
• 1/2 yd Fabric 3 for lining and pockets
• 2 - 1" x 14 1/2" pieces for front and back accents
• NO STRIPS ON THE OUTSIDE: 1/3 yd Fabric 1 for bag top and pocket accent
• 1/2 yd Fabric 2 for bag bottom, pockets and strap
• 1/2 yd Fabric 3 for lining and pockets
• 2 - 1" x 14 1/2" pieces for front and back accents
• Interfacing
• 1/2 yd Pellon #987f fusible fleece
• 1/4 yd Pellon #809 Decorbond fusible
• 1 - 12" long all purpose polyester zipper (pattern not suitable for metal zippers)
• Optional: zipper pull or 1/4 yd 3/8" ribbon
